So we just completed a long 2 weeks of Canadian Selection Training/Races and it went awesome! I will be travelling to Whistler early tomorrow morning for 2 weeks of training then we will be heading off to Germany for the Europa Cup. This year I will be piloting the Canada 4 sled with Luke Demetre, James McNaughton and Pat Szpak as brakeman. Stay tuned for an exciting year in Europe and many pictures/videos/updates to come!
Special thanks to Deborah Powell for the awesome photos!!!

Say hello to my new sled Maaji!! (Maaji) means 'Speed' in the native language of Alberta, Ojibwe! This sled is a Hiltibrand built by a famous sled builder Hanz Hiltibrand. In addition, the track workers have started icing the track, this means sliding is soon! Woo!

Hello again everyone! Just got word from the Bobsleigh Track Crew that they will be starting to ice the track starting this coming Monday! This means sliding is going to be very soon!! FIRE IT UP. Anyways, I would like to give a shout-out to the NCAA Army Football team for the sweetest uniforms ever seen. Its hard enough to tackle guys in the NCAA let alone if they are in full camo! Nice work gentlemen!

Winter is coming soon enough, and that means sliding is going to start up. As some of you know, I am working to become a pilot and have chosen certain brakeman to slide with me during the Driving School that will start October 1st at COP, Calgary. My brakeman right now is James McNaughton, who is a graduate from the University of Ottawa and also played for the Gee-Gees as a linebacker. I am very excited to commence my young piloting career and I have lots to learn! As for right now, our team is in a very intense time period of weight lifting and sprint training and we will soon have a week off then have our ice house testing on the 27th, and 28th.
Thanks for your support!!!
Stay tuned for more updates!!
